Celebrating Diwali

Today we learnt about Diwali, a Hindu festival held at this time each year.  Some students and teachers dressed in traditional Indian clothing, including Shyla.  She and Shiloh also shared with us their research covering aspects of Indian culture such as food, celebrations, art (Rangoli patterns), accessories, stories, music, sports and clothing.

Shyla and Shiloh sharing their research.

We were interested to learn about Shyla's culture.
